Computer Graphics I Grade level: 9-12 Number of weeks: 20 Prerequisite: Studio Art & Computer I & II Number of credits: ½ This course will concentrate on introducing the use of the CorelDRAW graphics package as a medium to create design products ranging from logos and business cards, to advertisements, posters and CD covers. Students will learn to incorporate the elements of art and principals of design into their final product. Students will also use the program to produce original artwork, ranging from abstract compositions to photomontages. Using the Internet, students will use art from other cultures and research on past movements in art history as sources for their computer projects. |
