To:
All
persons of the Cincinnatus Central School District
From: The Cincinnatus Education Association
Our school
faces a dilemma; decades of sustaining our rich heritage have
wreaked havoc on the building’s infrastructure. The State
Education Department has exhausted its patience with concerns of
an unsafe bus plan and facility. The Board of Education
appropriately responded with the proposed Building Repair and
Reconstruction Project. The Board of Education and
administration worked hard to obtain 94.8% state funding! These
actions in our opinion are essential to preserving our school.
The project will alleviate the infrastructure and safety
concerns, repairing the building and protecting our children.
The members
of the Cincinnatus Education Association have overwhelmingly
decided to make known our duty extends further than the
classroom on an issue of such magnitude. We encourage you to
attend the Public Hearing for the project March 22, 2006 at 7 pm
in the Wilbur Auditorium. Then vote in favor of the
Proposed Building Repair and Reconstruction Project.
The vote will
be on March 29, 2006 from 12 to 8 pm in the Welcome Center
foyer.
This is the
first time the Cincinnatus Education Association has officially
endorsed a building project. Association members have a strong
feeling of pride for our school, and we wish to make this known
by our declaration. Join with the Cincinnatus Education
Association to preserve the legacy of our Cincinnatus School.
Vote in favor of the Proposed Building Repair and Reconstruction
Project.
Most
sincerely,
The Cincinnatus Education Association
