Battle of the Books

  • Battle of the Books is a voluntary reading incentive program for students in grades 3-12. The purpose is simply to encourage students to read good books and have fun competing with peers. Students work in teams of 3-4 people to read and study a set of 8 books. Each grade level has a different set of books.

All participants are asked to read and study all books for their grade. We have planned meetings once a month starting in September. All participants will battle at the building level competition at the end of March/beginning of April. The winning teams will advance to the regional finals at the end of April.
