Cincinnatus CSD Earns Top Honors at 2025 NY FFA State Convention

Cincinnatus Central School District is thrilled to announce its receipt of two prestigious awards at the 2025 New York FFA State Convention, held at the New York State Fairgrounds in Syracuse. Superintendent Todd Freeman was honored with the 2025 Administrator Recognition Award, while the district received the 100 Year Chapter Challenge Award, both celebrating its dedication to agricultural education and leadership development.
The Administrator Recognition Award, presented annually, highlights educational leaders who show exceptional support for agricultural education and FFA programs.

“Mr. Freeman has been a supporter of the Cincinnatus FFA since day one,” said the event’s speaker. “He’s been one of the main driver’s behind hiring an agricultural teacher at the school for the first time in fifty years. Hi support didn’t stop there. He supported as the chapter has hosted schoolwide events and even hosted sub-states. Thank you for your support, Mr. Freeman.”

Additionally, the Cincinnatus FFA chapter was awarded the 100 Year Chapter Challenge Award, which recognizes chapters that excel in commemorating a century of growth and achievement within New York FFA. The chapter’s innovative programming, active community outreach and commitment to cultivating leadership skills among students were key factors in earning this distinction.

The 2025 New York FFA State Convention gathered more than 2,500 FFA members, advisors and guests from across the state under the theme "Excelsior." This landmark event celebrated 100 years of New York FFA history and laid the foundation for a bright future. Attendees participated in workshops, competitions, and networking sessions with agricultural professionals, emphasizing the critical role of education and innovation in developing future leaders.

Cincinnatus Central School District’s accomplishments at the convention reflect its dedication to educational excellence and meaningful community engagement. The district extends its heartfelt gratitude to the NY FFA for these recognitions and to the students, staff and community members whose contributions made these achievements possible.
