Welcome to Cincinnatus Central High School. We are a rural school of approximately 250 students in grades 9 through 12, located in Cortland County in central New York State. Our school is the center of a supportive and caring community. We strive to prepare our students to meet the challenges of the future, while preserving their pride in the community’s heritage and traditions.

Cincinnatus Central High’s academic program is designed to provide our students with the knowledge and skills necessary to achieve the New York State learning standards. In addition to required courses, our talented faculty offer interesting and popular electives in all subject areas, with opportunities to earn college credits in English, social studies, mathematics, and computer courses.

Our students participate in a broad variety of interscholastic athletics and other physical activities for both girls and boys, including soccer, basketball, volleyball, baseball, softball, track and field, golf, cheerleading, winterguard, and weight training. We offer several after-school clubs and activities to choose from, for those students whose interests lie in music, art, drama, foreign language, computers, yearbook, and skiing. While academics and school functions fill most of their day, many of our students volunteer their free time to serve the needs of their community.
