Cincinnatus Student Elijah Fuller Selected to Attend American Legion Boy's State Program

Elijah Fuller has been selected to attend the American Legion Boy’s State Program for juniors. This is a week-long program that immerses high school youth from all over New York in citizenship and leadership training. They learn the practical aspects of government as it exists in New York State, and come to recognize that the individual is integral to the character and success of the government. They also participate in physical fitness, team work and other activities under the guidance of the American Legion counselors and the US Marines. This year’s Boy’s State takes place at SUNY Morrisville in June. Elijah is being sponsored to attend by our local Knickerbocker American Legion Post #596 in Cincinnatus.

Elijah has been involved in cross country, basketball, track & field, drama club, e-sports, and Next Generation Leadership Summit participant at school. He also has a job babysitting. He is enthusiastic, openminded and has a positive outlook on life. He tries to look at things from multiple perspectives and will be a great candidate for Boy’s State! Elijah is planning to major in Computer Technology and his dream job is to be a Data Analyst working in Cyber Security.
