The newly formed Cincinnatus Elementary Student Council is already creating positive change in our school community!

The students recently completed work on their first significant project - the introduction of the Buddy Bench.

The Buddy Bench is a red, Cincinnatus-themed bench that will be placed on the playground. When a student needs a buddy, he or she can sit on the Buddy Bench to indicate they are lonely. His or her classmates will then come over and invite them to play! The Buddy Bench encourages students to extend a hand of friendship and kindness to their peers while encouraging leadership among classmates.

We are so proud of our Elementary Student Council for their hard work on this amazing project!
