Cincinnatus senior Izabella Cosimo has been selected to serve as the student representative on the Board of Education. Izabella applied for the position earlier this year and was chosen to be the voice of her peers at the table.

“I find it very interesting and intriguing to learn what is going on in our schools,” Izabella said. “I like being able to share my opinion, and I think I bring a student’s eye into the Board’s thinking. Every day I see and hear what’s happening in our building, and I get to bring that perspective back to the Board.”

In her role, Izabella attends public meetings, shares student concerns and celebrations, and helps ensure that the student body has a voice in school discussions. Her position represents an important bridge between students and school leadership, making sure decisions reflect the needs and experiences of those directly impacted.
