Cincinnatus CSD is pleased to Welcome Officer Jeff Carr as New School Resource Officer

We are excited to welcome Jeff Carr as the new School Resource Officer (SRO) at Cincinnatus Central School District!
Jeff recently retired after serving 23 years with the New York State Police. During his career, he spent 17 years serving the Homer community and was a member of the Traffic Incident Management Unit, focusing on work zone and traffic safety. At the end of February, he joined the Cortland County Sheriff's Office and was appointed to Cincinnatus Central School District.
Originally from Groton, Jeff began his career in education, working for four years as a teacher assistant in special education and coaching basketball, cross country, and baseball. He is a proud graduate of SUNY Oneonta.
Jeff and his wife have two sons. His oldest is a New York State Trooper and the youngest, a senior in high school, loves playing guitar and is in a band. In fact, Jeff is one of his son’s biggest supporters and enjoys helping promote the band whenever he can!
Outside of work, Jeff enjoys golfing and fishing. He also played 26 years of fast-pitch softball at the national and international levels with the New York Bombers.
We are thrilled to have Officer Carr join our team and we look forward to the positive impact he will make in our school community!
